When Obama campaigned as a moderate, they knew it was really just a ploy.

The elite media guarded their savior, who promised them change and new hope,

They treated him with worshipful reverence, like the second coming of a liberal Pope.

But now that Barack’s in office, our greatest fears are realized,

The government’s growing massive, right before our very eyes.

The TARP was a disaster, with union bailouts and cash for cars,

The White House says don’t worry, we’ll mange with all of our Czars.

Unemployment’s now at double digits, and the economy’s still very weak,

But you’d never know it from the networks, who are still unable to speak.

First Lady Michelle and the anointed one, adorn all the papers and magazines,

They love Letterman and Paris, but have no time left for our brave Marines.

With appointments like “the truther” Van Johnson, and Attorney General Eric Holder,

From “dear leader” in N. Korea to the Mullahs in Iran, our enemies keep growing bolder.

While General McCrystal says our troops are dieing, and Obama ignores the human cost,

The liberal’s “good war” against the Taliban in Afghanistan, is on the verge of being lost.

When town hall meetings burst with anger, and citizens protest for good reason,

Pelosi and Harry Reid, label them vigilantes who are guilty of high treason!

The health care takeover is massive; government spending is running amuck,

If the Democrats plan is successful, our health care will cost more just to suck!

Of course we knew it would happen, if we criticized this President with a black face,

That we’d all be labeled mere bigots, and told our objections are based solely on race.

So sick of hearing this nonsense, and clubbed with this pathetically dishonest canard,

Concerns are based on actions and character, not some tired and used-up race card.
